Hello fellow Communication Enthusiasts! I put together a mini-masterclass of the key communication skills for (new) managers on a new site (https://3vcoachric.com/) that I teach in my standard coaching program, so that anyone can have access to these tips. It is all on video, and comes with some bonuses too (like a free ebook). The first 2 parts are free, so you can watch over 15 minutes of precise communication tips when ready! If you want to carry on, then you can pay a small fee to get access to the rest of the course. Either way, take a peek at the promo video above, and if you’re interested, hit the website and get access to the first two parts now. Why wait? Your career won’t. 🙂 Thanks for your interest and do let me know what you think of the course.

So, what are the qualities of a good speaker?
Make sure you include these points when you have to speak in public.
1. They talk to us as though we are having a conversation
2. They speak our language
3. They look as though they are enjoying themselves.
4. They inspire us to find out more about the subject
5. They tell stories/use the human-interest angle
6. Someone who conjures up pictures in our mind
7. They don’t talk for hours
8. They let us know where we are going
9. They look at us – not their notes
10. They stress important points and pause to allow ideas to sink in
11. The talk appears well prepared but has an air of spontaneity

Body Language Resource
I have recently been asked if I would let everyone know about a new resource out of the U.K.
It is a website that contains tons of articles on Body Language. You could spend a lot of hours here. The strength of the site is its variety and specific topics. Ironically, the weakness I think is that the articles do not go into great detail, as the topic would suggest. However, for people just starting to study body language or who have been studying for a short time, this is a great resource.
I am happy to recommend it.
